Dilemmas and changes of Topic

Last night, I have quickly changed my topic to online training HTML – create your own web pages. This is something I always want to learn, so I sent email to Anne, and waited for her approval.

I received her email this morning, she said OK.

I then started to plan my course session time, while I browsed through this course content. As soon as I read of the computing codes, such as ‘.gif, TT, BR, PRE, etc”, I got a big big headache. I felt strange, that seems to be a complete new thing to me. The limitation of my previous knowledge of computing, and flexibility of internet access from my place stopped me to finish this learning within 6-8 hours. If there is no time limitation, I can probably complete this learning by starting from the very basic understandings that will require much more time.

I then decided to change my course again. I felt sorry to Anne, I kept sending email her for help. This time I aimed something I was familiar with, also interesting. Finally decided: customer service – communication.

I am certain this time, no more change! ~

Decide my topic

I have began to choose my course for assessment 3.

My topic is to learn Japanese, which is a language I always want to learn.

1st i decided to choose CD-rm training course, however Anne suggested the importance of interactive learning for elearning course. Then through Google research, I found lots of free japanese course websites. Oh, too much variaties to pick the best out.

I decided http://www.japanese-online.com/ was the best, however when I started to browse through, i found in this website only limited lessons for free to login. you are asked to pay to learn Japanese Grammar, and writing.

I started Google research again, typed in “learn Japanese free online”. This time I am smarter, I browsed websites first then made up my mind to submit to discussion board. Finally I picked the best site out of all.

http://japanese.about.com/, this website provides:basic Japanese words, audio files, situation set up lessons, and helpful tools (dictionary), fun article about Japanese, Japanese readings, etc. As well as this site offers links with other useful sites.
