Introduce Learners’ readiness

E-learning today is a common way to deliver education and training within many organisations.
Learner readiness for e-learning involves the learners’ technical ability and learning skills.

1.      Technical Skills required by e-learners

  • use of computers
  • use of the network
  • use of software applications
  • use of tools to download and upload information from web pages or course-management systems
  • use of email to exchange documents
  • use of online discussion

2.      Be able to Assess Self-knowledge for e-learning readiness

E-learning learner’s readiness can be measured through self-assessment. Table below is extracted from: http://www.ispi.org/pdf/suggestedReading/Vol17_04_66.pdf
